• Check-in: After 3:00 PM unless otherwise arranged.
• Check-out: By 11:00 AM unless otherwise arranged.
• Happy Hour: At the bar from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM every day.
• Riverside Spa: Open from 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM every day. Booking is required.
• Riverside Restaurant: Open from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM. Table reservations are necessary.
• Breakfast: Served from 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM daily, included with the stay.

Guests booking a room at Hotel Selfoss must be over 18 years old or accompanied by an adult. Pets are not allowed inside the hotel.

Breakfast

The breakfast buffet at Hotel Selfoss includes hot and cold dishes suitable for vegetarians and vegans, with gluten-free options available. Guests leaving the hotel before breakfast can request a takeaway breakfast. Please inform the reception in advance to arrange this.

Children

• 0-6 years: Stay free in a room with their parents.
• 7-12 years: Pay 50% for an extra bed in a room with their parents.

Extra Beds

Hotel Selfoss offers rooms with a sofa bed as a third bed, and extra beds can also be added to rooms.

Environmental Commitment

Hotel Selfoss is committed to environmental sustainability, with all waste sorted and minimal negative environmental impact. Guests can help by opting out of daily room cleaning for stays longer than one night and reusing towels. Please inform reception if you choose to decline room cleaning.

Room Upgrades

Guests have the option to upgrade their room for an additional fee, subject to availability.

Currency

Please note that we only accept payments in Icelandic Krona (ISK). Unfortunately, we are unable to exchange foreign currency. We recommend that our guests convert their money to ISK in the bank or use credit/debit cards for convenience.

Payments

Payments can be made via bank transfer, through the website, or by calling Hotel Selfoss. When making a bank transfer, please include the booking date and customer name. Send a copy to info@hotelselfoss.is. Accepted cards: Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Discover Card, Diners Club, JCB, and Union Pay. All prices include VAT.

We reserve the right to charge payment in advance or send an invoice to the bank.

Hotel Selfoss ensures full confidentiality of customer information. Detailed privacy policies are available on our website.

Internet

Hotel Selfoss offers free internet access to guests throughout the property, no password required.

Parking

Free parking is available for Hotel Selfoss guests during their stay. Register the car number at reception upon check-in.

Electric Vehicle Charging

Hotel Selfoss provides charging facilities for two electric cars in the parking lot outside the hotel.

Luggage Handling

Luggage assistance is available for a fee. Guests can store their luggage with us if needed; please seek assistance at reception.

Smoking/E-cigarettes

Smoking is prohibited inside the hotel, but guests may smoke outside near the entrance. E-cigarettes are also not permitted inside. Violations incur a fee of 50,000 ISK.

Airport Transportation

To reach the airport, guests can take the bus, a taxi, or a rental car. Contact reception for more details.

Lost items

Lost items is kept at reception for three months, after which items are donated or recycled. Hotel Selfoss is not responsible for lost items.

Cookies
